Took out trash and went for a short walk
Most sunny and cool, really pleasant.
The maple tree outside my bedroom window is starting to show a blush of fall colors, but all the other trees I saw on my walk are still pure green.
Cleaned the kitchen.
Idea for a genre of stories:
Think of M.R. James Ghost Stories of an Antiquary, but cast them in a cyberpunk settings.
James's protagonists are mostly innocent antiquarians to whose curiosity or blitheness lead them to frightful or unpleasant discoveries, usually of a weird or supernatural character.
Have the same thing, but the discoveries are technological dark patterns, accelerationist nihilist startup founders, and evil djinn/shoggoth AIs.
