They have begun wondering if global warming might push the Earth to spin faster as the snow caps and high-altitude snows begin disappearing (because it's more aerodynamic?? haha). That doesn't sound at all alarming. Been mildly annoyed that the fan of my ThinkPad spins up more often than it should, with little load. Tonight, I cracked it open, and replaced the thermal paste.
