Slept from 11:30 to 7:30 without waking. First really good night's sleep I've gotten in a few days. I suspect that the heat had been a problem; last night I set the AC to 74, and left it on all night.
Sunny today. High of eighty-eight.
Yvonne called me this morning. Dad's still in the hospital. He didn't get his test results back yesterday. She thinks they'll keep him another night.
Vacuumed, watered plants, wiped down the kitchen counters, et cetera.
I'm debating going to see dad in the hospital. I really don't like hospitals. At the very least, I need to get out to buy him a Get Well and a Father's Day card.
Watched a couple of monster movies on Netflix: Zoombies and Shark Lake.
Bought a couple of cards and a Terry Pratchett novel for dad. Went up to Beaumont. Dad was asleep, and I missed Yvonne. I stayed about ten minutes.
Saw a black swallowtail butterfly.
