Slept pretty well. Had a fun crazy dream:
In dream-Paris with dream version of family in house with the to as a mini Eiffel Tower and the bottom built below the sea. My mom's cat, Cody, got his tail bitten off by killer whale, but he was OK. Went to an all night rock show. Dashed through Paris, tried to catch a ride on the back of a motorschooter-like street sweeper. Lost my shoes. They wouldn't let us into the museum because we looked like ragamuffins. Overall adventures like a Wes Anderson movie. Grandpa Gordon showed me how to operate the Eiffel Tower elevator. The end turned into a b-movie with killer whales crawling onto the beach with their fins and chasing screaming people.
I really need to make an optometrist appointment. Bad scratch on my glasses, and I'm probably overdue for an eye exam.

Also found this one, which is neat:

Questions:
- How do I record a terminal as an animated gif, and show keystrokes (e.g. record a vim tutorial)?
There doesn't appear to be an optimal solution for this.
`apt-cache search screencast`
byzanz looks OK for recording, but none of they key display packages do what I want.
`byzanz-record -e vim screencast-test.gif`
