Used my new naked portafilter and basket for the first time. Not sure if it was that or if I finally dialed in the grind size (1.1), but the espresso was pretty good. Not great but good. No sourness, but not pronounced sweetness either. I did preheat by running one water shot before making the espresso, which may have helped. Didn't preheat for the afternoon espresso and it was just as good. Some combination of dialing in the grind setting and the new portafilter seems to have fixed the sour espresso. I'm pretty satisfied. For a cappuccino, with the new 18g basket, my 4 oz glasses are a little tight. I ordered some 6 oz Duralex glasses, though the 4 oz ones are still the right size for capturing the espresso shot. I was surprised how easy it is to steam and foam milk (though I have not interest in latte art 😆). Vacuumed. Servings: grains 6/4, vegetables+fruit 4/5, dairy+meat 5/4, nuts+beans 0/0.5 Breakfast: banana, cappuccino Brunch: left-over pizza Lunch: cucumber and tomato salad Afternoon snack: cappuccino Dinner: Chinese
