Didn't get a quorum for our high-level D&D game, but I started a new first-level inprov beer and pretzels game.
Dane (Dum Sum, aarakocra monk 1) and Scott (Scribble Sprocketly (gnome artificer 1) arrived in the small town of Rock Bottom.
They have a treasure map marking a location in the ruins of an ancient hillfort overlooking the town.
The duo hired Tarric Swiftstride (hobbit ranger 1) to accompany them on their upcoming expedition, then spent the night at The Falling Trout ("god house beer") rather than The Phoenician Nosferatu ("infected by vampires").
* Character background: Cribble built Dim Sum's birdhouse.
* The clock in the town square has a mechanical little vampire that comes out every half hour to flare its cape, bat-like.
* In The Falling Trout, two burly local farm lads watched kept glancing surreptitiously at the adventurers and muttering darkly.
* Old Crone Hallowhobby comes to Rock Bottom on Wednesdays. She sells potions and poultices.
