Oh, I'd been mistakenly thinking Joe Hill wrote this and finding it really odd book for him.
It's the not the horror writer, it's the guy who wrote The Blade Itself, which I bounced off pretty hard.
Oh, well, The Devils is at least entertaining with some likable (if samey) characters.
