Lows in the upper 60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent. Finished reading Chaos. Meh. Clearly the DA, Bugliosi, was a creep who misrepresented or a least "simplified" things during the trial. Probably, some of the Hollywood people had more involvement with Manson's Family than was widely known. Maybe the CIA was funding some weirdos who _might_ have crossed paths with the Family at some point. But there's no big revelation. I guess the book is interesting as an example of how a journalist can sink years into a project an not necessarily discover a novel and conclusive narrative about a subject that's already been widely investigated.
