Saw an auction for David Lynch's estate.
Made me sad, like missing my dad and some alternate universe version of my life.
Lots of art books, musical instruments, photography gear, film memorabilia, and one lot of his dad's stuff, including a Forest Service backpack.
> A collection of outdoor-related items from David Lynch's father, including a U.S. Forest Service rucksack and a Forest Service journal with copious notes regarding photographs taken in Spokane, Washington. Also includes a whistle, a small survival kit (matches, wire, string, fishing weight, sheet of paper, and razor blade), a compass, a "Bob-Bet" brand bait box, two animal-themed neckties (one with owls and other birds of prey, and one with wolves under a full moon), a Donald W. Lynch business card from when he was Secretary of the Watershed Fire Council of Southern California, and a red flannel Field Stream brand shirt (size: L-Tall).

Wish I had a viable alternate career.
Maybe I'll feel different tomorrow.
