Gartner sent out a paper titled "Hype Cycle for Artificial Intelligence, 2024":

Yet, it still says gen AI will be "transformational" in 2-5 years, which I see as optimistic.

I would be OK with this if the anger was transferred to decision makers at the company.
Like, to compensate for the call center staff not hearing anger, any call to C-level execs should be modified to be howlingly angry.
