Tue Nov 15 06:00:01 EST 2022 ======================================== Slept from eleven to six-thirty. Woke briefly around two-thirty. Cloudy. A chance of snow in the morning. A chance of rain late in the morning, then rain and snow in the afternoon. Accumulations up to half an inch. Highs in the upper 30s. East winds 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent. Work ---------------------------------------- Working form home until Friday, since Matt's in Washington. CTO standup, ELMS weekly sync, NLP in FS, AWS study. Home ---------------------------------------- Finished reading The Blacktongue Thief. I liked it a lot — creative, well-written, and fun. It shows that goblins and giants can still be genuinely scary and effective monsters by imagining the consequences of their existence long side humans, almost like extrapolating a scifi premise. What else has this author written? Washed dishes, washed laundry. A thin dusting of snow fell, the first (?) of the season, or at least the first to stick even a little. Servings: grains 3/6, fruit 1/4, vegetables 2/4, dairy 1/2, meat 1/3, nuts 1/0.5 Breakfast: carrots, banana, left-over steak sub Brunch: coffee Lunch: cucumber Afternoon snack: naan and hummus Dinner: fries
