Pretty sure I reached this conclusion before but:
use a minimal set of content when writing adventures (pure 1974 LBB's or, at most, B/X) but a maximal set of content when playing (Advanced Labyrinth Lord, etc.).
Servings: grains 1/6, fruit 1/4, vegetables 2/4, dairy 0/2, meat 3/3, nuts 0.5/0.5
Breakfast: apple, two eggs, tomatoes
Lunch: coffee, corn chips
Afternoon snack: cucumber, sausage
