Patchy fog early in the morning. Highs in the lower 40s. Southwest winds up to 5 mph shifting to the south around 5 mph early in the evening. Ed chatted about D&D alignment charts. My conception of alignments has shifted slightly over the years, I guess. Chaotic: impulsive, disorganized, rule-ignoring. Lawful: disciplined, organized, rule-enforcing. Good: promotes happiness and well-being in others, even potentially at a disadvantage to themselves. Evil: pursues their own happiness and well-being, even potentially at the expense of others. Neutrality can mean not consistently or extremely favoring Law over Chaos or Good over Evil. Neutrality might also mean that the position on the perpendicular axis is so extreme as to overshadow any tendency one way or the other on the opposite axis; such extremes may veer into caricature or abnormal psychology (e.g., promoting suffering in other for _no_ benefit to oneself). Real people probably cluster around neutrality — not going far out of their way to help or hurt others; and following or breaking rules when it advantages them, and they can or can't get away with it.
