Makes me miss Thomas Video and that video store at Western. I tried to figure out the name of the video store at Western, but the area has changed so much that I could barely orient my self on Google Maps. Looks like Bilbo's Pizza still exists, but has moved locations — now it's near Sweetwater's. Gone now too. And the coffee shop owned by the punk musician that always played jazz (1504 W. Michigan Ave., or thereabouts, just down from Kinko's). Some of the area still looks mostly the same, coming from the eastern side of campus, but the western end of campus is really rebuilt. Oh, they demolished Bigelow. I miss Vince and Lara and Chris and Gayle and Bill and Dan and Emily and all the other characters in our WMU crew. Wish I'd been better about keeping in touch with people. Big nostalgia trip. Also crazy how Google seems to have forgotten anything that happened more than a few years ago. Actually cried — bawled — for the lost past.
