Thu Nov 12 06:00:01 EST 2020 ======================================== Slept from ten-thirty to six-thirty, although only fitfully after four-thirty. Mostly sunny. Patchy fog early in the morning. Highs around 50. West winds up to 5 mph shifting to the south in the late morning and afternoon. How'd I miss that? Twenty-minute walk at lunch. Sunny and cool. Leaves crunching under foot. Home ---------------------------------------- Trying my new Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard. Not sure about it. I like the comfort of the split keyboard halves, but the key reach seems long for some keys. "b" and "~" seem like longer reaches than I'm used to. Having full-size arrow keys is nice, although F-keys are smaller. They switch action feels pretty good, not too mushy. … Yeah, I really like the split keyboard. I think I like the forward slant too. … Miss the Thinkpad nub a little. … Unexpectedly, the split keyboard has made a huge improvement to my posture. https://kottke.org/20/11/the-50th-anniversary-of-the-iconic-exploding-whale https://ergodox-ez.com https://www.zsa.io/ Watched some of this Egyptians show, Paranormal. Fun. The gorilla in the third episode almost looks stop-motion in it's movement, although I'm sure it's CGI. Wonder if that's an intentional effect. Servings: grains 5/6, fruit 2/4, vegetables 2/4, dairy 2/2, meat 2/3, nuts 0/0.5 Brunch: banana, egg and potato wrap (really good!), coffee Lunch: orange Afternoon snack: cucumber Dinner: cheese curls
