Installed the Buster backport for Linphone that includes the fix for the interface freezing after call completion.
One annoyance fixed.
(Might have spoke too soon; this may not be completely fixed in the Buster version.)

There's blacktop on the east-bound lane of 13 Mile now; still blocked off, but it exists.
A few more days, or maybe a couple weeks, and the road might be open in both directions.
