Work:
- Add Julianna's pic to the staff directory
Done.
- November vacation request
Done. November 22–25, returning to work on Tuesday.
- Investigate DNS filtering breakage
Partly done.
Potluck at the office.
168 hours of vacation time remaining this year, before I took off two days for U-Con.
Home:
- Check Inky Git repo
Done.
- Notes on Phandelver
Done.
- Go to bed a little early?
Made the sauerkraut and beans last night.
Tasty, but very different than the dish Yvonne made a couple years ago.
What I actually cooked:
- drained the sauerkraut but didn't rinse it
- simmered the sauerkraut in a pan for twenty minutes
- the sauerkraut turned out fine — not too sour or weak
- fried onions in butter, but for too long — they were nearly mushy
- adding half a glass of white wine to the onions, beans, and spices, and let it reduce
- the wine pan sauce worked very well
- However, the wine, marjoram, and herbs de Provence too the flavor (while good) in more of a French direction than I intended/remembered. Maybe next time, more garlic and no marjoram and herbs de Provence.
- add maybe a second can of beans
Anyhow, it was tasty and went over well at the potluck.
What happened to my Git repo from inky?
Did I not push it?

> It's no secret that Instagram, and its parent company, Facebook, have some pretty old-school ToS in terms of censorship. Their policy, inconsistently policed at best, has given the boot to many otherwise tasteful images including, notably, an image by artist Ruki Kaur of a woman on her period. Now [2015] a trend is taking Instagram by storm wherein people are photoshopping male nipples over a females' nipples to stick it to the man and hopefully result in a meaningful dialog on Internet censorship.
