Woke briefly around four-thirty.

Twenty-minute walk at lunch.
Not hot yet.
Saw three dragonflies, a pair of goldfinches, a little white butterfly, and a turkey vulture.
Heard cicadas and crickets.
Home:
Noticed that the pit in a plum wasn't aligned in any obvious relationship to the outside of the plum, the crease in exterior fruit.
Why?
What determines the orientation?
How it grows on the tree?
Watched some anime.
