Fri Jan 4 10:28:09 EST 2019 Slept from eleven-thirty to six-thirty without waking. High of forty-four and sunny today. Work: - Change backup media Done. - Email Alltronics about DVR's Done. - More PO's Done. Scott took the day off. Bought sneakers during lunch, but didn't have time for a walk. Home: - Buy sneakers Done. - Long walk Done. - Go to bed not late Forty-minute walk after I got home. Warm-ish and clear-ish. Saw Orion. Last night, I bought the audio book of SQQR. Listened to it before bed and more on my walk this evening. Excellent. Sometimes funny, and well written in a way that goes beyond an agreeable prose style. The opening with Catiline and Cicero, provokes interest in its own right, and also demonstrates the book's approach to its subject. Picked up a six-pack of Bell's Lager of the Lakes, which I haven't tried in a long time. Despite being a lager, it exhibits Bell's signature unfiltered character (which isn't bad as such, but I got pretty tired of the sameness of it after drinking so much in Kzoo). Huh, the Nix package manager supports MacOS, and offers a lot of packages. Servings: grains 0/6, fruit 4/4, vegetables 4/4, dairy 1/2, meat 3/3, nuts 0/0.5 Breakfast: carrots, banana, orange, two eggs, coffee Lunch: apple, carrots, tomato, orange, yogurt, coffee Dinner: beer, turkey burger, coleslaw, potato salad 139/74
