Slept from eleven to seven. Woke briefly around five.
High of seventy-six today. 20% chance of rain.
Stopped at Starbucks on my way to work.
Work:
- Buy multifunction printer for Jo at Central? M426fdn?
Done.
- Fix disk space on Nostromo.
Done.
- Clean office
Done.
kitty - the fast, featureful, GPU based terminal emulator

Kitty is promising.
No plans to support sub-pixel anti-aliasing, so probably not totally viable for me until I move to all hi-dpi displays.
A minimal `~/.config/kitty/kitty.conf`:
```
font_family Ubuntu Mono
bold_font auto
italic_font auto
bold_italic_font auto
font_size 10.5
adjust_line_height 110%
cursor #ce5c00
cursor_text_color #fff
cursor_blink_interval 0.75
cursor_stop_blinking_after 0
foreground #dfdfcf
background #2a2a2a
```
Thirty-minute walk at lunch.
Overcast and cooler than the last couple days.
My lethargy has lifted, along with the heat.
Home:
- Book hotel for U-Con
Done.
Ten-minute walk after work.
That NYT op ed!
Who's the author? Pence, Perry, Sessions?

And the forthcoming Woodward book too.
Interesting times....
I wish Gnome Terminal allowed control of the cursor blink rage like Gvim or xterm.
$ xterm -bc -bcn 1350 -bcf 350
