Sat May 5 14:30:45 EDT 2018 Slept from one-thirty to six-thirty, listened to This American Life, then slept again from eight to eleven. Although I never lost power yesterday, cable internet's down today. Goals: - Clean apartment Done. - Play Night in the Woods Done. - D&D stuff Done. - Haircut Done. - Laundry No. Vacuumed, watered planted, wiped down kitchen and bathroom. Read Slumbering Ursine Dunes. Finished playing Night in the Woods. Great game. I wish there was a little more of it, or that it was slightly more of an open-ended sandbox. The concept is strong enough that it could sustain much more content. May give it a second play-through; I know I didn't see everything. Unresolved Night in the Woods questions and thing I might want to accomplish on a replay: - Who are the secret members? - Can we cause a happier ending for the preacher and vagrant? - What's up with the statues, especially the disappearing head? - Telescope? - Whose bedroom is near the rat's nest? - Play bass better. - I the janitor some sort of god? - Are the three teenagers more than teenagers/mock gatekeepers? - Was the nineteenth-century(?) kid murdered? Can we find out more? - What went wrong with the murder, why was the arm left behind? - Is there another secret area in the museum? - Does mom have more backstory? - Can we interact more with grandpa? - Is there more to the tunnel river than one brief excursion? Breakfast: coffee, peanuts, carrots Lunch: lasagna Dinner: Arby's
