Slept from ten-thirty to six-thirty without waking.

Done (but more to do).
Why do OpenBSD KVM/libvirt guests often (always) fail to be seen as off after issuing `halt` inside the guest?

Ah. `halt` and `shutdown` in OpenBSD may need the `-p` flag:
> -p Causes the system to power down, if it is being halted, and the hardware supports automatic power down.
