Slept from midnight to seven-thirty.
High of fifty-two today. Forty percent chance of rain, primarily in the afternoon.
Goals:
- Clean a little
Done.
- Work on Faux Bat
Done.
Listened to music and worked on Faux Bat in the morning.
Vacuumed, watered plants, changed towels, tidied, took out trash.
Hour-long walk after noon.
Warmer and sunnier than expected. Breezy too.
The sort of day where cloud shadows race across grassy fields.
Walked through Beverly Park.
Lots of leaves in bloom, including the dogwoods.
Saw robins, starlings, grackles, ducks, turkey vultures, cardinals, and red-winged blackbirds.
Several people flying kites.
Paid my car insurance. AAA keeps getting more expensive. I should shop for alternatives.

> In 1583 Sir Francis Walsingham introduced the celebrated Dick Tarleton to the Queen, and he soon became one of the most popular comedians in London and was appointed to the "high and honourable" office of Court jester to her Highness. Several robes were purchased for him in Paris, to appear before the Queen at dinner, dressed as a buffoon or jester. His duty on those occasions was to make the Queen "merrie." Fuller styles him a master of his faculty who, "when Elizabeth was serious and out of good humour, could undumpish her at his pleasure."
undumpish: (obsolete, nonce word) To relieve from the dumps; to cause to cheer up.
Played Zelda.
Watched the few episodes of Kino's Journey available for streaming on Amazon.
Interesting. Fairy-tale-ish episodic wandering stranger thing, with a bit of Borges or The Prisoner thrown in.
I wish Amazon had less weird region blocking of selected episodes of stuff.
Breakfast: tomato, carrot, coffee
Lunch: ham, potato salad, coleslaw
Dinner: pizza
