Slept from eleven to eight. Woke briefly around four.
Mostly sunny with a high of fifty-nine today.

Also upgraded from 10.3-RELEASE to 11.0-RELEASE.
Ran into an annoying problem where pf would fail to load its rules because the external interface hadn't gotten its address via DHCP yet.
I resolved it by editing `/etc/rc.conf`, and changing `ifconfig_em0="DHCP"` to `ifconfig_em0="SYNCDHCP"`.
(I've come to consider the PF configuration syntax far more comprehensible than the ipfw syntax, which is important for a firewall.)

Saw a bunch of starlings, a blue jay, and a duck. Heard a morning dove.
