Tue Feb 21 07:37:26 EST 2017 Slept from eleven to six-thirty. High of sixty-one. Half a chance of rain. Work: - Firewall rules for bag Not finished. Got sidetracked with router/dnsmasq stuff. Ten minute walk at lunch. Warm. Slightly rainy. Saw a crow flying. I just remembered why I set Unbound to return 127.0.0.1 for blocked queries instead of Reject. It's because the Windows DNS servers are using Unbound as a caching resolver; if Unbound returns Reject, the Windows DNS queries try themselves. By returning 127.0.0.1 from Unbound, the Windows DNS servers are satisfied. Home: - Golang practice Done. - SEMIBUG 7 PM Done. Mary talked about TrueOS. Dinner afterward at Coney Island. A good time. Left work on time for once. Fit in a thirty-five minute walk before dark. Saw and heard robins, and a bunch of Canada Geese. And a morning dove, which reminded me of how dearly grandma Gordon enjoyed the morning doves of Lake Park. Watched an episode of A Cook Abroad, and chatted with Jay. Breakfast: carrots, spinach, yogurt, coffee Lunch: jalapeno burger, peanut butter shake Dinner: Gyro, fries
