Slept from eleven to seven without waking.
Fifty-six and sunny today.
Goals:
- Laundry
Done.
- Work on D&D mini rules
A bit.
I like that in Mentzer basic, finding a mule in the dungeon means an NPC party is nearby.
What's left? Not much. Review the monster list. Add a little flavor.
Pursuit. Pursuit and evasion is one important missing rule.
- Work on shell notes
Done.
- Read some fiction for pleasure
No.
Paid my car insurance.
One thing I like in Awesome (that I learned to appreciate during my fvwm days) is the ability to make a window always-on-top.
This is great combined with Awesome's ability to have a foating window over a tiled layout.

Twenty-five minute walk in the early afternoon. Sunny, breezy, and warm enough to be comfortable without a coat. Not quite all the leaves have fallen, and I listened to them rustle. The smell and crunch of dry leaves underfoot. Saw a seagull, a woodpecker, and a crow.
Watched a few episodes of Emergency!, which hold up pretty well.
Breakfast: carrots, lasagna, coffee with half-and-half
Lunch: left-over pizza
Dinner: roast beef sandwich, cookies
