The HR director shared a letter from Craig Taylor:
To Everyone,
If you are reading this I am dead. I would like to thank everyone for coming here today. I understand that it is difficult to attend memorials because you have other things to do, like --- um --- work, or shopping or something
I want to let everyone at Hartman & Tyner know how much I enjoyed working there for the past 30 plus years. These were some of my best days. I met some great people at work and some of the most memorable characters ever. I especially want to thank Mr. Hartman for his generosity and kindness for helping me in my last days.
I am being buried in a small town named Colon, in southwest Michigan. I am sorry this is so dar from work. I chose to do this because i spent many happy days in my youth at my grandparents' home in Colon and I get to be buried by my father and grandparents.
Hope to see you up here soon, but no rush. All I can say now is --- goodbye!
The food truck came again today. I got jerk chicken, broccoli, and red beans and rice. Healthy, simple, OK-tasting food, with the novelty of the food truck.
Twenty minute walk at lunch. Rainy but warm.
Home:
- Read
No.
- Grocery shopping
Done.
- Fuck with ipfw rules again:
Message from sshguard-ipfw-1.6.2:
##########################################################################
Sshguard installed successfully.
IPFW support has been rewritten. Sshguard will now add entries to table 22.
You can start sshguard as a daemon by using the
rc.d script installed at /usr/local/etc/rc.d/sshguard .
See sshguard(8) and http://www.sshguard.net/docs/setup for additional info.
Done.
Added to /etc/ipfw.rules:
$add 10000 deny ip from table\(22\) to any
I'll check on it later to make sure it's working.
# ipfw table 22 list
...shows that addresses are added to the table, at least.
I should probably go back soon to revise my general ipfw notes....
When I got home, I put away dishes and Drain-o'd the tub.
