Goals:
Work:
- Install SSL wildcard cert
Yes. Generated the cert, and installed it on a couple of boxes.
- Fix web filering and ntp
pfSense ntp was sending kiss-of-death to Nagio. Why? It shouldn't do that on the LAN side.
Done. Web filtering fixed.
- Budget summary spreadsheet for CFO
Nope.
Home:
- Install updates on my OpenBSD vm
cvs up still going....
- Rough sketch of D&D session log
Yes. A good start.
Questions:
- How does pfSense know which interfaces are LAN and which are WAN? Does it even really make a difference to the ntpd config?
- Any other ideas for making OpenBSD VPN's more reliable? Why does bringing a tunnel up or down tend to cause other tunnels to fail in the near future, and why does isakmpd silently die around this time?
Submitted OpenBSD bug report about incorrect reference on ipsec man page.
