Sat Nov 3 12:45:18 EDT 2018 Slept from one-something to nine-something. Woke once, briefly, in the night. High of forty-six and mostly sunny today. Goals: - Some programming thing? C as Unix API language? SVG as image map replacement? Done. - D&D blog? No. - Laundry? Done. Two loads. Watched the Netflix Castlevania series. Good. Forty-minute walk in the afternoon. Mostly sunny, and cool without being cold. Walked a couple trails in Beverly Park. A few other people were at the park, enjoying the day. Beverly Park had a new picture book spread along the trail — a trick-or-treating-themed one about a duck and a swamp monster. Heard a crow, and saw a blue jay. Lots of fallen leaves, and more than a few bare trees. Watered plants, changed sheets, tidied a little. https://www.c0ffee.net/blog/openbsd-on-a-laptop/#cwm https://dev.to/apotheon/openbsd-is-c-documentation-3gd1 I need to remember the `!:2` shell syntax for grabbing the nth argument to a previous command. See the "Event Designators" section of `bash(1)`. The `!string` is especially handy. Started working through the exercises in K&R. A moderately productive day. Servings: grains 4/6, fruit 4/4, vegetables 5/4, dairy 2/2, meat 4/3, nuts 0/0.5 Breakfast: Lunch: strawberries, carrots, coffee, banana, two eggs with tomato, onion, and spinach Dinner: apple, tortillas with beef and vegetables and cheese, strawberries 136/85
