Tue Jan 19 07:41:18 EST 2016 Slept from about 10:30 to six. Didn't wake once during the night. Could have used another hour of sleep, but I feel much more rested than I did yesterday. High of twenty-one today, and mostly sunny. However, the windchill will dip below zero. Goals: Work: - Finish setup for ftp server Done. - Verify Fifth Third process Looks good, but I'll verify that it actually happens. - Look at firewall anti-malware Done. - How big is the smb share on zol? Do we still have enough room for terminal? Done. 450 GB smb share, which leaves +1.5 TB free. Plenty for terminal. - Storage bare metal backups? Sorted. - Check out top-of-rack switch and b-side network A little. - Buy rack shelves Done. Still damn cold out, but I braved a twenty minute walk. Home: - Read Done. Read the first chapter of Le Fanu's Uncle Silas, for which I read a recommendation from Guillermo del Toro. - Go to bed not late Done. Tonight is the monthly SEMIBUG meeting. Not sure I'm up to going. Went for another walk after I got home from work. A short one. Fiery sunset. 60%-full moon in the blue sky. The snow crunched satisfyingly under foot. Looks like we should be done with this cold snap by the end of the week. I did end up going to SEMIBUG. Cool. We met at Altair Engineering. Nice place. Presentation on GhostBSD. Dinner at Leo's Coney Island.
