I keep thinking about this article.
It was published following the win of a progressive candidate over a centrist candidate in Michigan's congressional primary.
It was a brief analysis of Gallup (?) poll result from a survey of Republican and Democratic voters about their attitudes to capitalism and socialism.
What I took away from the poll results was that many Republicans view inequality as a feature rather than a bug — that inequality is the manifestation of the worthy being rewarded and the unworthy being punished.

Nice dinner with Yvonne, Kate, Rob, Isla, Hardy, Dylan, and Riley.
Went back Kate's house after and drank a beer on their patio (which looks great).
Rob showed off the outdoor shower he built.
