KDE has this sprawing config utility, but it can't set a default wallpaper for new activities? KDE Activities sound like a good idea, but the implementation is half-baked. LXQt has many fewer bells and whistles than KDE but also many fewer UI inconsistencies. Does it get me anything over i3? The ability to pin windows, I guess, but I loose stuff like ad-hoc named workspaces. Back to i3! Watched Out of the Dark (1995), a Hong Kong paranormal comedy. Kind of funny, but largely dumb.
