Went to bed around 10:30, slept well, and woke up around 5:30.

Sunny with a high of sixty-eight today. It looks like it might be nice all week.

Goals:

    - Remember to change backup cartridge

    - Review invoices
      Done.
    - Research remote access, RADIUS, vpn, etc.
      Done, a little.
      We would probably want to use strongswan, since it is under active development and supports Windows clients.

      I think we would want to do username/password authentication EAP-MSCHAP, and need a RADIUS server.
      Windows Server seems to come with a RADIUS server, which they call the Network Policy and Access Services feature.

Scott's on vacation in Italy for the next couple of weeks, so I'm mainly just trying to hold down the fort.

Went for a 40+ minute walk at lunch. Very nice day indeed. Went down to the pond near Franklin Hills to take a look at it now that the leaves are down. Not a duck or bird to be seen. I did see another one of those red-tailed dragon flies, like the one I saw at Beverly Park yesterday.

I think the dragonfly is an anax longipes (a.ka. comet darner).

I've also noticed quite a few papery wasp nests since the leaves fell.

Went for a short walk after work. Very pleasant night.

Discovered my car has fake manual transmission mode. Cool. Not sure how much I'll ever use it, but cool.
