Fri Feb 12 07:33:52 EST 2016 Slept from about 9:30 to seven. Woke once, briefly, to sip water from the glass on my nightstand. Woke before the alarm clock, leisurely. High of twenty-five today. Snow showers likely, though less than half an inch of accumulation. I read a couple chapter of The Victorian Internet before bed last night, and another when I woke up this morning. Interesting. Goals: Work: - Work on incident response plan No, the thin client project just became more urgent. - Work on thin client beta Done. Significant progress. - Install and configure tripwire on more boxes No. - Work on centralized syslogging No. Thai food for lunch. Spent all day working on the thin client build. Home: - More Golang notes - Fix this clock problem Done. The only thing I don't like about cwm (which I like a lot) is the inability to permanently float a window, especially a clock. Added to .cwmrc: bind M-c unmap bind M-c "timeout 2s xclock -digital -geometry 190x32 -strftime '%m/%d (%H) %I:%M'" The only minor issue is that it steal focus. Did a few chores when I got home from work. Vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen counters, and put away clean laundry. Ed mentioned that he wants to play D&D this weekend.
